The picture of the most famous teenage girl on the planet, Greta Tunberg, is one of the most long-awaited releases of this year. The host of the Rain TV channel Anna Mongite and director, screenwriter Nigina Saifullaeva watched the tape: they share their impressions of the film and talk about the relationship between the teenager with parents.

From November 22, Beat Films, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in Russia, presents a series of premiere shows of the film directed by Nathan Grossman «I – Greta».

Grossman met Greta Tunberg during her first “school strikes”, even before Barack Obama called her the main lawyer of the planet, and Leonardo

DiCaprio – the leader of the world. The director spent a whole year with Greta, taking off everything that happened to her. The picture tells mainly about the Growth teenage-activist pathos remained in the background.

There are many scenes in the tape, revealing the nature of the young Swede. Opponents Grets talk about her as an embittered, ever -indignant and cocked teenager who is exploited by famous parents – actor Svante Tunberg and opera singer Malena Ernman. Is it really? Now the audience has a chance to draw a conclusion by looking at the picture of Nathan Grossman.

«From her, so uncomfortable, it is impossible to dismiss»

Anna Mongite, host of the Rain TV channel

This film that hooked me about Greta Tunberg is actually about personal and everyday, which surrounds this small ecological martyr, holy fool and holy. It was interesting for me to understand how this strange child, incomprehensible and closed, victim of school bullying (in the film she says that she never had friends except dogs and parents), obsessed with the idea of salvating the planet, goes to some kind of cosmic level of publicity. Apparently, this introvert, but extremely stubborn girl is a phenomenal rhetorical gift, she becomes the voice of rebel teenagers. It is known that Zumerov is seriously worried about the ecology that does not care about boomers.

Greta appears on time and brilliantly articulates the thoughts that excite children. Thanks to pathological perseverance, she manages to shout to the first persons around the world – Macron meets her, Putin is talking about her. From her, so uncomfortable, it is impossible to dismiss. How did it happen? It seems to me that the whole thing is in full and all -consuming support of parents. They are ready to support and accompany her, even when her stubbornness and principles seem crazy. For example, in order not to burn aircraft fuel, it goes from Sweden to the United States on a sailing boat and instead of flying 8 hours, it floats for two weeks through a storm and a storm, actually preparing to say goodbye to life.

“But not her parents. She can do everything with them «

Nigina Saifullaeva, director, screenwriter

In the first minutes of the film “I am Greta,” the father of the main character says that she will not support her hobby. But the rest of the time the viewer watches how dad helps Grete in everything and accompanies everywhere. It seems that thanks to this support, Greta has the opportunity to use their superpower at full capacity.

We have a shalash charitable foundation, a formulated concept of “safe adult” is one with whom it is not scary, who knows the rules and is responsible for their implementation. The main thing is: a safe adult is consistent and constant.

Greta Tunberg in the film says that adults say one thing, but do another. But not her parents. She can do everything with them: she laughs and openly cry, and to cross the ocean, and this is important. In the film «I – Greta» it can be seen that dad does not shift the responsibility for life completely to Greta – he regulates what is happening, carefully and persistently fulfills his role as the parent. At the same time, in all his involvement in the life of Greeta, dad does not reinforce illusions, he is simply nearby, even if “no one knows tomorrow,” who is Greta.
